    powerbook lid-closed operation

    The PowerBook running with lid closed is nice: my laptop connected to my 20" LCD and USB keyboard + mouse turns into a nice desktop, 1600x1200.

    Took me a few tries to figure out the magic: I have to have the USB unplugged, then plug it in after I close the case to put the laptop to sleep.

    I was trying to figure out if it was louder with screen open or lid closed, it isn't clear. It's not THAT loud, but I still might move it a bit farther away (it sits on the table right in front of me now).
