All await to hear what wonders Google Video may offer.

http://pack.google.com/

It's... software that already existed! Bundled together in a giant blob!
For Win XP only!

Err... why?

Plus which: Norton Antivirus 2005 with 6 months subscription?
Err... why not free antivirus?

UPDATE:
Here's the pressrel on Google Video Store

Available soon, people who visit the Google Video homepage at http://video.google.com will be able to browse listings of video by category from the store or search Google's entire collection of videos by simply entering keywords into the search box.

...

Google Video Store will be available throughout the world, however purchasing premium content in the Google Video Store will only be available in the U.S.

So Canadian (legal) downloadable TV options still stand at zero.

Plus which, ok video
UPDATE: I guess this is new?

Google Local for Mobile Phones (GLM) beta, of course

UPDATE:
You know, the more these guys love proprietary DRM, they more they screw themselves.
Presumably the iTunes Video will be incompatible with the Media Player 11 Video which will be incompatible with the Google Video.

Brilliant. That's what consumers want. Video content spread across a bunch of different stores, applications and formats. "Ok, I want to buy CSI, I got to iTunes, right? What? I go to Google? Ok, so I can buy Lost on Google? No, I have to get it in iTunes?"

Hmm, if only there was some torrent of bits where all this stuff was available in one format...
