    darcy dragon you down

    It's just over a year since I wrote my insightful analysis -

    Darcy the Dragon: Charming Children's Chanson, or Corrupt Capitalist Coda?

    Recently as I was pondering this decoding of the hidden subtextuality, a deeper insight gleamed:

    I now believe Darcy the Dragon is nothing less than a condemnation of Chinese capitalism!

    Think about it... dragon (symbol of China)... fiery disruptive voice silenced... in order to enable the orderly purchase of stuff from many shops.

    Ah Roger Whittaker, you subversive cultural critic.
