My long-standing theory is confirmed:
I think the remainders of the human race are just rats in a maze for the Cylons.

The Cylons won the war.
All they care about now is religiously-driven resettlement of Caprica and the other human home worlds.
Which they can't do until they can make babies.

They also, secondarily, want the humans to find Earth so that they can also destroy it and resettle it with Cylons.

Ever since Six just showed up on Galactica one day, messed with their heads, and left, I was confirmed in my idea that the Cylons know exactly where the human fleet is.
