Una Casa con Vista al Mar. Beautiful film. Complete mastery of light, shadow, and colour. In many ways a very conventional story, but told with wonderful visual storytelling. There are too many movies that don't take advantage of the fact that it's a visual medium, but this was an exception. The colours were so intense, I almost wonder if they used some special process. I was anticipating a standing ovation, but actually the response was less than to Rare Birds last night, which I thought was unfortunate.
